Massage chairs have the potential to be significant investment. Therefore, it is important for you to do some research beforehand. Your decision to buy a massage chair is typically influenced by your requirements and budget. Asking yourself some right questions to ascertain your needs before making the purchase can help you make the right choice.

A massage chair is specifically designed to stimulate the pressure points in your body and relax your muscles. A well-designed massage chair should provide you relief from pain as well as complete relaxation. The two most common types of massage chair are Shiatsu and Swedish massage chairs. Shiatsu massage chairs use a combination of movements to stimulate the body̢۪s pressure points by the help of pressing, patting, sweeping, rolling, and rotation movements, while Swedish massage chairs use long and smooth strokes combined with kneading movement.

What Are Benefits Of Using A Massage Chair?
Knowing the benefits of a product like massage chair can emphasize the need for that product and educate you towards its important. The benefits of having a good massage chair are manifold specifically for your health. Here are some of the most common benefits:

* Totally freedom from stress and deep relaxation
* Relief from stiffness and tension in muscles
* Reduction in body tension and muscle spasm
* Better joint flexibility and wider range of motion
* Enhanced flexibility and efficient movement
* Reduced blood pressure levels
* Better blood circulation

Can Anyone Use A Massage Chair?
Now that you know the benefits of massage chairs, you are probably interested in knowing who can use it. Well, massage chairs are typically designed for an average height of 5'10". So, if you are much taller or shorter than this height, we suggest you give the massage chair a try before buying it. Ask the massage chair salesperson to help you learn the controls so that you can adjust the position of the various nodes and rollers for maximum benefit. Certain brands, such as Panasonic offer massage chairs that automatically adjust to your height by sensing the top of your shoulders when seated. If you are over 6 feet tall or suffer from knee, hip, or lower back pain then don't buy a massage chair that is very low to the ground.

What features should the massage chair have?
Having too many features in your massage chair can mean paying a higher dollar. More often than not, most people use only some specific features on a regular basis. Choose a massage chair with features that match your needs. For ex: of you are prone to muscle tension and stiffness, then you should invest in a massage chair that offers excellent mechanical massage to your body or specific area of your body. A good example of this is the Isymphonic massage chair that has been designed to be especially effective in the neck and shoulder areas. Panasonic's Pro Elite comes with airbags in the chairs arms that inflate and deflate to massage the neck and shoulder areas. Some other chairs have air bags that inflate and deflate in the legs and foot region, while others have them in the lower back, hip, and buttocks areas.

When testing the massage chair, also pay special attention to the pressure or intensity of the massage offered. Though the intensity of the massage can be adjusted according to individual preference, you must sit in the chair for at least 15 minutes to ascertain that the pressure and comfort are acceptable.

If you like to sit with your legs on a higher level, then check if the massage chair has an extendable leg rest or an ottoman.

Where Should You Put The Massage Chair?
Now that you have tested the massage chair and probably made up your mind about which chair to buy, its time to think about where you can keep the chair. Since massage chairs are bulky, they require more space. Usually, a bedroom or a home office is the most popular choice for putting a massage chair in. Discuss with people who will be using the massage chair to make sure that the place where you keep the chair works for them or not.

Reclining massage chairs cant be kept with their back close to a wall. A better idea is to measure the space where youd want to put the massage chair before making a selection. You can also seek the advice of a chair salesperson to find out the area required for your massage chair.

If you are not sure where youll put the chair, you may want to buy one with wheels like the Ijoy. Not only can you move it from one room to another but also keep it out of sight when not in use. But if you are facing a space crunch, then opt for a portable massage cushion. Though not as rich in features as a regular massage chair, the cushion can be placed on any chair and is easy to stow away.

What Should My Budget Be?
Budget! Perhaps, one of the main deciding factors when investing in a massage chair. The general range for massage chairs starts at around $700 and can go up to $6000 or more. A word of caution - price is not an indication of quality. High priced models are completely feature packed and you never use most of these feature in your lifetime!

Remember, a good massage chair can alleviate your daily stress and body tension in a matter of minutes. But never buy one without trying it for yourself.

For individuals preparing for their next marathon, or leisure running event, you know how important it is to keep your body fully hydrated to maintain your ultimate peak performance. But no matter what level of runner you are, having properly designed running hydration gear can be the vital reinforcement in helping you get across that finish line safely!

A balanced performance level for runners is a very important component, and your concentration level plays a key role in keeping proper pace, and maintaining your ability to read the warning signs your body is telling you. This is why the correct sports apparel and running equipment is just as important as the training for the serious running enthusiast.

Hydration accessories play a key role in the runners' mix of sports products needed to keep their endurance at the level required by the individual runner. Many designs are currently available that not only provide functionality, but also offer comfort and stability. While running long distance, or taking short mountainous trail runs, the last thing you want to be worrying about is if your water pack is fitting correctly, and the gear content isn't shifting and bouncing all over your body.

With inferior product designs, you will experience more frustration, and with your attention focusing on your bottle gear, and not your activity, you increase your chances of throwing your concentration off, or even worse, you may seriously injure yourself.

Hydration Packs Are Specially Designed Running Systems!

Like proper running shoes, athletic clothing, and accessories such as a pedometer, all have certain features that you desire in order to assist you in an overall better performance. The same applies when you choose your hydration pack, because all packs are not created equal, and they also have features that may differ in application.

The right running system for you will determine on what level of comfort you're looking for and also the required function. If you're a speed walker, you may feel the packs with the water bottles will be sufficient, however, if you're a full out long distant runner, having bottles may be a hindrance, and switching to a more stable waist pack with a bladder/reservoir system, plus also adjustable features that will prevent bouncing during your stride, may be exactly what you're looking for in a water hydration system.

The good news is that with the incredible technology and design, you have many options today than ever before, and when you start searching outdoor sporting good stores, or online bag suppliers, you should have no worries finding the right running pack that's right for your needs.

As an athlete, I understand the importance of maintaining the concentration levels during a good run, or any other sporting activity that requires your mind to keep that necessary focus. Having the best hydration tools to help you achieve your goals, and prevent you from breaking your level of concentration is crucial to any sport. Keeping your body fully hydrated is surely important to you and your health, so there should be no compromise when you decide to select your running hydration pack system!

You may not have noticed but there is a certain ingredient missing in the foods we eat which could wreck your life. Take asparagus for example. Now what could be missing? I am a chef, I can help you.

I know. I know. Vegetables that are purple are in and you buy your purple passion asparagus farm fresh. None of that stuff that's transported 1250 miles on average from factory farms to reach the produce shelf, exhausted, at your market. Nope. You get the good stuff, organically grown, from the farmers market and cook it the only approved, right and correct way; you steam it (according to a recent study in the Journal of the Science of Food). Good.

Then you sample it and it tastes kina good. So, what's missing? Maybe, your chef suggests, you add a little Meyers lemon butter, some French sea salt and imported, fresh ground black pepper. Now it tastes really good, you gourmet with a personal chef. But something's still missing?

Now you read the fine print and find out most of the essential nutrient folate or vitamin B9 is just not all there and whatever was there was lost when you cooked it (according to the USDA). And to make matters worse, it doesn't matter where you bought the asparagus or even if it is purple, white or green. Because the only thing The United States Department of Agriculture knows for sure it that it probably does not have an adequate amount of folate for you in the first place. Read on.

All right. So folate is colorless, something you cannot taste and it is something you cannot live without. In fact you and I and whatever colored asparagus you're eating have something in common: none of us can live without folate (Andrew D. Hanson, Horticulture Sciences Department, University of Florida, personal communication). By deduction we know that the asparagus made enough for itself, but maybe not enough for you. So how do you know enough of it there or not there?

You don't, period. Science could tell you, but try and find that answer. Of course you could have a nutrient analysis done before cooking and after cooking and you would find out for sure. But that would set you back a lot of lettuce, if you get my drift. And the asparagus would not plate up very pretty and I would quit as your chef.

You say, so what? I knew that was coming. Your life without adequate folate or vitamin B9? If your primary source of folate was asparagus then you could end up putting yourself at risk for a host of devastating health problems. Here's the short list: heart disease, birth defects, retardation of development (in children) and low levels can lead to anemia in adults along with added risk for colon cancer. Oh, your body absolutely needs folate to make new cells and genetic material. Darn details

But don't throw out the asparagus, yet.

As science built the story of this missing ingredient, study by study, and discovered what happens to us when it is not all there, the Federal Government stepped in to help fix the problem. But first science proved we were not getting enough folate from our natural foods. In fact about 50 or so years ago science proved that food richest in folate is (or was) asparagus, but it is also found in other green leafy vegetables, eggs and beans. All this has been published by the USDA and the FDA. However, in 1998 the Food and Drug Administration began requiring certain grain manufacturers to fortify their foods with folic acid, a synthetic form of folate.

And low and behold folate deficiencies are becoming rare, according to nutritionists (that's what most every licensed nutritionist you can contact would most likely say-contact a few and see).

But the levels of folate in our naturally occurring foods are still to low to sustain our health and we must have our diet fortified or suffer the consequences. We know this for sure because science has established it beyond doubt and with agreement of the Federal Government. In addition, no less an authority than Harvard University ( at Harvard's Department of Public Health) says fresh fruits and vegetables alone cannot provide us with adequate nutrition-we need supplements to fill in the missing ingredients in our foods.

So we now know there are ingredients missing from our foods that were there but are not now and we do not know why: the baseline for getting adequate nutrition from our foods has shifted.

As your chef I recommend it is probably best to eat your asparagus, steamed and sauced along and pop a vitamin supplement rich in folate (a daily dose of 400 to 800 mcgs is recommended by the FDA-check it out with your doctor before you start).

Of course, if you do not like looking for missing ingredients in your foods you can eat some cereal fortified with folic acid and other yummy ingredients.

One of the biggest individuals in golf right now is arguably Michelle Wie. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on October 11, 1989; Michelle is making headlines around the world for her outstanding performances in women's events, and particularly for her aggressiveness in competing in men's events.

While there is a bit of talk lately about the way she is supposedly getting easy access into events, I just thought we'd instead look at some of her astonishing achievements to date, that got her to the amazing position she is in now.

- Michelle first started playing golf at age 4, and played her first 18 hole round at age 7, scoring 14 over par.

- At age 12 she was the youngest ever player to qualify for an LPGA tournament (the Takefuji Classic). Then at just 13 years of age she became the youngest ever player to make an LPGA cut at the Kraft Nabisco Championship.

- At just 14 years old she was already over 6ft tall. And at only 15 she managed two second place finishes in LPGA events, and missed the cut into a few men's events by just a couple of strokes.

- She turned pro just after she turned 16, and made her first cut into a men's event. She is now receiving multi-million dollar invitations into a number of different women's and men's events, and she still hasn't turned 17.

Now they are definitely some pretty amazing accomplishments, but it's really only a sample of what Michelle has achieved. If you would like to see a full timeline of Michelle's golfing career, visit http://golf.about.com/cs/womensgolf/a/wietimeline.htm

The first thing to do before purchasing a bicycle for any reason is to know what your primary riding is going to be. Most people initially purchase a dual use bike, something that can be ridden on road and off road. Eventually, when the bug bites big it'll be time to invest in a bike that is all muscle for the mountains.

One of the ways that mountain bikes differ from other bikes is that they have very strong, lightweight frames, multiple gears, powerful breaks and wide tires. A comfort bike, or recreational weekend bike, touring bikes and cruiser bikes are built more for comfort than durability. WIthin the mountain bike category there are several types of bikes available; the cross country bike, the trials bike, the downhill bike and the jump/slalom bike.

Generally the largest percentage of mountain bikes sold are in the cross country, or XC classification. These are good dual purpose bikes. They are lightweight and good for riding over tough terrain, but they are also comfortable for road riding.

Jump/slalom bikes are also good dual purpose bikes. They are very strong and have an excellent front suspension.

Downhill and trial bikes are for serious mountain bikers. The downhill bikes have both front and rear suspension, disc breaks and are very strong. A trial bike is for a very skilled rider. Trail riding itself is a very competitive sport demanding a lot of precision. Most riders of downhill and trail bikes build their bikes from scratch, choosing each component individually.

You will want to do a lot of reading about different types of bikes, and you'll want to visit many bike shops. A cross country mountain bike can cost between $600 and $800 or more. Some bikers say that your first bike should be the best bike you can possibly afford, even if you think that it's too much bike for you. If you buy a low-end bike initially and then find you want to change components later it can get costly. Before choosing a bike you will want to ride it. Most dealers allow for a 15 to 20 minute test ride. If you do a test ride make sure you go "off road" if you can, even if it's over curbs and grass. You want to get a feel for the bike.

So you've decided to become financially independent! You've chosen to work at home. Congratulations! I'm sure this is a decision that can turn your life around and lead you to financial freedom.

But that is going to happen only if you're careful enough to let it happen! There are a few things you should really look out for when deciding to work at home.

When you set out to give the work at home business thing a try, you'll find out that this was just the easy part! The hard part is to discover which one is right for you.

With all these so called "opportunities" that flood the internet, you should be very careful in choosing a work at home business. To help you, I have put together a few simple rules :

Rule #1 : Try to avoid "get rich quick deals"

Now that's a golden rule! Usually, when something sounds too good to be true then it probably is!

Oh, I know these sound appealing and of course you would like to get paid for doing nothing (so would the rest of us!). But don't you think that if these people had the magic solution to making big money they would use it instead of trying to sell it to you for whatever price?

It's sad to know that so many people end up feeling frustrated when they realize that they have wasted their time and hard earned money. There are no magic tricks! Commitment and hard work instead, can make you rich.

Rule #2 : Find a program that you really like and can work with

Another rule that's essential! Say that you come across a program that requires you to sell life insurance. You hate insurance people, you think they're full of hype.

So what, the compensation plan looks great! What would you do? Would you join the program? Could you picture yourself selling life insurance even if you hate the very idea?
The answer is that you're never going to make any money doing something you don't like!

The point I am trying to make here is, that you should go on and find out everything there is to know about the program you are interested in. Just spend some time doing an essential reading through the available material (company website, related articles etc).

Try to get an overview of how the system works and if you need more information or if you get confused , go ahead and ask the person who referred you to the program for help. Doing your homework always pays off.

Rule #3 : Make sure you know exactly what you're getting for your money

There are just too many companies out there that present you with sales letters as long as a book but not even a hint as to what you are actually getting in return!

If the product they're selling is that good and is going to make you so much money, why hide it? Why only mention it in the last few paragraphs?

Ok, I know, it's the way sales are closed. Still, you would like to know exactly what you're buying. It could save you a lot of grief

Rule #4 : Perform a background check on the company

The longer it has been around, the better. This way you know that you're dealing with an established company that will not go bankrupt 4 months after you join!

It has been known for people to lose their online businesses and commissions owed to them for this very reason. Choosing a quality company is essential but can prove critical to the survival of your work at home business.

Rule #5 : Make sure you're going to get all the help that you need

It's just typical for someone to join a program, pay his membership fee or buy a product and then be left in the dark, not sure what on earth to do next!

Again, I'm repeating myself here but this is important, try to get an overview of how the system works, who your upline people are and how they can help you.

If you need more information or if you get confused, go ahead and ask the person who referred you to the program for help. In this way not only will you get an idea of how the program is structured but you would also be testing your referrer to see if he/she will respond promptly to your need for help.
But first, you have to have an idea of how the program works.

Rule #6 : Check out the compensation plan

Ok, so you've joined a program which ,hopefully, is going to make you rich. Do you know how this is going to happen?

It's not necessary that you know every detail about the compensation plan from the first day that you join. But still, wouldn't you like to know if you're getting 5% or 60% commission on an average sale?
After all, it takes the same amount of effort to generate a sale. Wouldn't you like to be paid more?

Rule #7 : Do not spend much at the beginning

A legitimate work at home business should be able to operate at a minimum/low cost. You should not have to invest a lot of money in any home business. At least not in the beginning.

When you do decide to invest some money into your own home business, this should be your own decision, not someone else's and must arise from your understanding that a business is what you make it.

There are more rules that I can add to these and make a really long list but this is not my goal. My goal is to provide a clear path, a few steps that should be easy to follow through the minefield of schemes and "get-rich-quick" deals to a company you can really trust.

Using your own common sense is as important as having these rules in mind when looking for an opportunity or a work at home business.

Your decision to join a program should be the result of considering facts and should not in any case come from mere curiosity. Keep in mind that there are very few true work at home opportunities out there and you have to find the one that's perfect for you!
